A girl and her dog | Charleston Photography

I met up with Lauren and Sekiah for a downtown shoot.  I knew this would be fun when she told me she wanted something with her dog Sekiah.  Sekiah is 11 years old and just as sweet as she can be.  When I first met Lauren I absolutely loved her outfit choice.  This smokin’ black and white dress goes perfectly with Sekiah’s deep black coat.  Here are a few shots from that session.

Brother and Sister forever… | Riverfront Park Photography

I was contacted by Kim recently because she wanted to have some photos done.  It just so happened that her brother was coming in town for work so we decided to schedule her session when he would be able to get away from his duties.  We met during one of his breaks in North Charleston at Riverfront Park.  This is one of my favorite places to shoot and I am always happy when someone wants their session there.  Here are some photos from that session.

Girlfriends in Downtown Charleston

I was recently contacted by Erin who was interested in having some photos done.  Now these weren’t to be regular photos…these were of her and her girlfriends who were coming to town from Philadelphia.  I was super excited to spend some time with so many girls and was up to the challenge.  We started off at the Pineapple Fountain downtown and then headed on a bit of a walking tour of Charleston.  Here are some of the photos from that session.

Time for a change . . .

When I started my photography business all those years ago I was at a different place. I was learning about myself and what type of photography I wanted to do. Throughout the years that I have been a photographer I have worked at developing my style and being comfortable in who I am. So what does all this mean?

Well Monica Day Photography is getting a facelift. Yes!! I have being working with an awesome designer to help create a brand that reflects who I am. Over the next few days you will see this new look develop.

As always I thank you for your support and please know that there is so much more in store!!
