I was contacted by Mae earlier in the year about doing a family photo shoot. Now this wasn’t just some regular mom, dad, and two kids. Oh no! This was mom and sisters and a couple of husbands thrown in the mix…on a tight schedule! Ha! Now many might be daunted but when I realized that I was dealing with just adults here, I knew that we could face this challenging arrangment with no problem. There was family from California, Boston, and the UK!! We had to change our shoot around a few times due to their super busy tour of the Northeast schedule but we finally settled on a date… Only to be encountered by the threat of rain. We were determined to make it so we headed on out in the North End and had a fabulous time.
I will say that this family made me feel soooo comfortable. Can you imagine that? Someone that makes the photographer feel comfortable. I truly began to fee like I was a part of this family as I walked down the street holding the hand of my new mom for the evening.
